This month’s Visiting Teaching Message is on the History and Heritage of the Relief Society. I went with a little winter theme, since it has been beyond frigid around here lately. I like how President Eyring says that, “heritage is passed heart to heart.”

Tea Designer Clothing Giveaway

I first saw pieces from the Tea collection at a local children’s boutique. They have the most adorable children’s clothing for what they call the little citizens of the world. I instantly fell in love with the cute colors and quality construction. I had so much fun browsing their site for fun outfit combinations. Here are a few of my favorites:

Deb and I are sisters, active members of the LDS Church, and SAHM’s who simply just have a lot of fun creating meaningful artwork for the home. We are inspired by family, life, things of the spirit, and the beautiful world we live in. We come from a military family with eight children who spent most of our life living abroad. We enjoy being mothers and created this business so that we could stay at home with our children (why our work and correspondence is often done in the middle of the night!) We also enjoy our interaction with people from around the world and think we have the best customers in the world!

We help people learn how to cut vinyl, and offer tips, tools, and how-to’s for those wishing to make a little money on the side doing vinyl. Our design formats work on all crafting machines and vinyl cutters, including the popular Cricut machine. Valentines Recipes

These little hearts are cute and super easy for when you need a little something fast. I love valentines recipes. I made these last night so my hubs would have something fun in his love note mailbox.

You’re a ‘Sweetheart‘

Supplies: (made 9 little heart candies)

Crushed M&Ms or candy cane
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate and Mint Morsels or Andes Mints
Heart shaped silicone ice cube tray (2 packs in the Target dollar section)
White paper favor box (10 or 12 for $1 at Dollar Tree)
Plastic wrap or parchment paper (something to line the favor box)
Decorations for box: ribbon, stickers, etc.

1. Line the bottom of the hearts with crushed candy.
2. Melt mint & chocolate morsels in the microwave stirring often.
3. Scoop chocolate in to hearts and spread to the edges with a spoon.

4. Put in fridge to set for at least 15 minutes, preferably an hour.
5. Put together the favor box and line with plastic wrap.
6. Carefully pop candies out of silicone mold and place inside box.
