DIY Under $5

November 9, 2011 By Michelle Barneck 4 Comments

It’s amazing what you can make for under $5 when you put your mind to it! This week I made a DIY Photo Booth for my son’s 1st birthday party! It was a huge hit, complete with tons of props (mustaches, glasses, hats, etc) and a giant Poloroid frame for under $5!!

Poloroid $2: foam core $1 each
Props $3: funny glasses & top hat $1 each
Everything else on hand or free printables!
{Get more details on the DIY Photo Booth}
Now let’s see what you’ve been up to!

I enjoy so much your $5 projects that I decided to add an addition link section for anything under $15! That’s right. It will open up a place to show additional projects that can’t be purchased with an Abe Lincoln, but are still totally affordable! I can’t wait to see more from you!

Please remember:

  • Only link to your own projects that cost you $5 or less (price does not have to include items you had on hand) or $15 or less in the 2nd section.
  • You can link past projects that fit the dollar limit, but please only link each project one time to one DIY Under $5 party. Do not link the same project week after week.
  • No linking giveaways or items for sale
  • Please link back so others can join the party and so you have the opportunity to be featured on Saturday!

DIY Under $5

November 2, 2011 By Michelle Barneck 5 Comments

This week I tackled a super simple Thanksgiving craft. This is my Thanksgiving theme word for this year. I have a ton of decor with “give thanks” etc so I wanted something else that represented this holiday for me.
I already had everything I needed, so this cost me zippo! If you buy them, the paint is just over $2 and the plate $1.

Now let’s see what you’ve been up to!
