DIY Under $5

February 15, 2012 By Michelle Barneck 6 Comments

This week I am pulling from the archives for my DIY Under $5 project. Since Valentine’s is now over I decided to move on to St. Patrick’s Day! I did this Scrappy Shamrock Wreath couple of years ago, but it still easily one of my favorite projects ever! It cost me about $3.

Also, just FYI there will be NO DIY UNDER $5 PARTY NEXT WEEK. We are having a HUGE week of giveaways (we’re talking over $600 worth) so we will resume DIY Under $5 on the 29th. Also, this week’s features will be shown on the 29th. Thanks!
With that said, what have you been up to?

I enjoy your $5 projects so much that I decided to add an addition link section for anything under $15! That’s right. It will open up a place to show additional projects that can’t be purchased with an Abe Lincoln, but are still totally affordable! I can’t wait to see more from you!

Please remember:

  • Only link to your own projects that cost you $5 or less (price does not have to include items you had on hand) or $15 or less in the 2nd section.
  • You can link past projects that fit the dollar limit, but please only link each project one time to one DIY Under $5 party. Do not link the same project week after week.
  • No linking giveaways or items for sale
  • Please link back so others can join the party and so you have the opportunity to be featured on Saturday!

DIY Under $5 {DIY Flip Flops}

February 7, 2012 By Michelle Barneck 2 Comments

I’m preparing for an upcoming vacation and what better to scream beach than a pair of DIY flip flops. I found this tutorial on Make It and Love It. It cost me an old pair of flip flops and hubby’s t-shirt from the donate pile. They are unbelievably comfortable!
