I wanted something special to give our young women at our Christmas lesson. Each year we give them something that reflects the next year’s mutual theme. The 2011 mutual theme is the 13th Article of Faith so I thought it would be really cool to go with the latest craze and turn the key words in to subway art.It was so easy to create the mutual theme subway art using wordle. I just popped in my words, listing twice the words I wanted larger. Then I played with layouts and color schemes. I stuck with black and white to keep the emphasis on the words instead of the colors. This will also make it easy to print at home without plowing through my colored ink keeping the cost minimal.
I am going to print our subway art on cardstock and put it in black dollar store frames. I may find a two sided one and put the pictures we took of our girls at the temple in the other side.
Total cost will be just over a dollar each! Yay!

Here is a slideshow I made for the 2008 lesson as my Personal Progress Faith Value Project. This was the lesson where we gave out the believe blocks. The music is “You Were Always There” from the Jenny Phillips Parables cd. I LOVE this song!
