DIY Under $5

May 1, 2012 By Michelle Barneck 7 Comments

It’s once again time to party! You keep proving to me that $5 doesn’t have to look like well $5. 😉 Wanna see the belles of the ball from last week?

Fruit Crate Night Stands from The Poor Sophisticate
They searched with a budget of $10 for 2 and look what they found! I want to go shopping with her!

Ironing Mat from Thrifty Crafty Girl via The Crafty Scientist
Top of the dryer is wasted space no more! Stays in place with magnets. Love it!
Utensil Caddy from Just a Little Creativity
Save those pickle jars folks!
Blossom Ice Cubes from My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia
Use edible blossoms to dress up your drinks. So pretty for a bridal or baby shower!
Old Jeans to New Hairband from Meijo’s Joy
Love the texture and I think we all have a pair of old jeans!
So, what have you been up to this week?
Let’s Party!
I enjoy your $5 projects so much that I decided to add an addition link section for anything under $15! That’s right. It will open up a place to show additional projects that can’t be purchased with an Abe Lincoln, but are still totally affordable! I can’t wait to see more from you!

Please remember:

  • Only link to your own projects that cost you $5 or less (price does not have to include items you had on hand) or $15 or less in the 2nd section.
  • You can link past projects that fit the dollar limit, but please only link each project one time to one DIY Under $5 party. Do not link the same project week after week.
  • No linking giveaways or items for sale
  • Please link back so others can join the party and so you have the opportunity to be featured! I will not feature those who do not link back.
