Now for another one of my favorites. I discovered SwaddleDesigns receiving blankets when my Mother-in-law gave us one of their organic receiving blankets with our last son. We had just watched The Happiest Baby on the Block DVD and learned about how swaddling could calm our new baby so we were thrilled to have a brand new swaddle blanket.

I loved how soft it was and that it had the swaddling instructions right on the tag. So handy, especially when people who were unfamiliar with swaddling watched our little one.

I also love that these blankets are bigger than your usual receiving blanket. There is plenty of blanket to go around if you know what I mean. With some of the others our son would break out of his swaddle within seconds because the blanket was so small and difficult to wrap around.

  30. Also a facebook fan of SwaddleDesigns… I don’t even know where to start as to my favorite product… I really love the idea of the receiving blankets though… and the green with brown circles pattern is too cute! Or just the green with brown trim…
