Ingredients:
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 package (6 oz., 1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
| 1. Place corn syrup and sugar into 3-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. | |
| 2. Stir in peanut butter. Mix well. | |
| 3. Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated. | |
| 4. Press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Set aside. | |
| 5. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. | |
| 6. Let stand until firm. Cut into bars when cool. |
I think they would be super yummy with peanut butter chips instead of butterscotch chips too!

Those look so yummy!!
We need to do a dessert exchange for the next few holidays...that way when I make these I don't end up eating the whole pan and gaining 10 lbs in one day! I LOVE these...and now I have the recipe (oh crap!) Hahah, thanks!
Ah, so glad you added it. :) These are my favorite! So so good.
I think I shall make this minus the butterscotch chips. Butterscotch ruins everything. I heard it was Hitler's favorite flavor of candy. That explains a LOT.
I love scotcheroos. I need to make them soon, it's been way too long!
