Our church youth group wanted to do a Nativity Play for a local Retirement home. We wanted to do something a bit more than just throw a few carols together at the last minute, but knew we only had time for one practice.
I came up with a Nativity Play using the Nativity story from Luke 2 and Matthew 2 and inserting carols for each character. They are songs from the hymn book so the kids will already be familiar with them. Each narration will be accompanied by the song that is coming up next so that we can go straight from the narration into the song.
Here is the script of the nativity play if anyone is interested. It includes which songs go where and who will be singing which verses. I cut out a lot of verses to hopefully keep it short.

Michelle this is awesome! I want our young women to use it. You are so creative.
What a great idea! Thanks so much for posting and sharing. I will have to hang on to this for our children to use in the future.
Blessings!
It’s great that you could go and spread some Christmas cheer for those that really need some extra attention at the holidays!
