Happy Halloween-M&M bag costume

October 31, 2009 By Michelle Barneck 17 Comments

I whipped up this little M&M bag costume when I decided at the last minute that it would be fun to have our little one match us. I made it by blowing up a picture of an M&M bag and modge podge/taping it to a black plastic bag that I trimmed to look like the edge of an M&M bag. I even photoshopped the image to say Net wt. 27 lbs.

I also covered a baseball cap with plastic bag and glued M&Ms to it to look like the “bag” spilled. I had a basketball Easter basket that perfectly matched the orange in the peanut butter M&Ms bag so we threw that in the mix too.

Oh, and I got our M&M costumes for $3 each at a garage sale. Score!

I’ve used black garbage bags for numerous costumes…they’re so multi-functional, but never as an M&M pkg. CUTE!! As always Love your ideas.

Good sense of using art and existing rough unused material. I think we should always prefer to wear Halloween dresses made by self. Personaly I don’t see any reason to invest for such a short period fun.
