I had a few requests for the recipe for the Chicken Noodle Jar Soup from yesterday’s get well care package post. Ask, and you shall receive. I think it is a nice gift idea for someone who is feeling a little under the weather.
Chicken Noodle Jar Soup
2 Tbs. Chicken Bouillon Granules
2 Tbs. Dried onion
2 tsps. Dried celery flaked
1 tsp. Black Pepper
4 Cups Egg noodles
Put all ingredients in a jar or bag and give with the following instructions.
Bring 10 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 can of chicken and contents of bag. Boil 12-15 minutes.
I got this recipe from my wonderful neighbor Marilyn who we lovingly refer to as our son’s ward Grandma. We love them and are so happy to have Marilyn in nursery with the little guy on Sunday now!!
Oh, and mom is doing a bit better. She was able to come to a family birthday dinner which was great! Thanks for your concern!

What a great idea! You could even include the can of chicken since not everyone has that on hand. Love it!

This seems simple, but lovely for a gift for someone who is not feeling well. I like it. I’m going to keep it in my toolbox.

This is such a great idea! I love it! I love that that it is just noodles and broth. Sometimes when I am sick – I don’t feel like meat.
