It is made to print on 4×6 photo cards. Just add in your ward’s name under “from the kitchen of” and your time and place under “mix it all together on” and you have your Young Women in Excellence invite.
I made it using My Memories Suite v2 scrap book software and Everyday Mom Ideas free Li’l Monster Kit.
Speaking of My Memories Software, it was the first time I had used it. Here’s my take:
What I love:
- Comes with ready made layouts and shapes to make placing pictures super easy.
- There are 1500 digital papers and 1300 embellishments like ric rac, stitching, brads, etc.
- Comes with a myriad of word art and fonts and the text is easy to edit.
- You can add video and music for slideshows. Can’t wait to try this!
- You can add a hot spot for a link in your album.
- Lots of output options: jpg, photo book, ipod ready, dvd, etc.
- It has spell check.
- Price is SUPER reasonable especially with the code I will give you 😉
What could they improve:
- Has a learning curve especially if you are used to Photoshop. Figuring out how to re-size to 4×6 and export to jpeg. Like instead of {file, save as, jpeg} I had to find the export options.
- It is set up more for scrapbooking than for editing. I there were no eraser tools etc that I use when I want to use one of my existing designs and just erase something.
- The help function would be nice to be searchable by word. I would love to type in re-size and have it find it for me.
But, that’s not all! They are giving away one full version of the my memories suite software download to one of my lucky readers!
