August Visiting Teaching Message

August 12, 2012 By Michelle Barneck 5 Comments

The August Visiting Teaching Message is all about being good visiting teachers: being aware of each other’s needs and supporting one another. There was one statement that really stood out to me.

Visiting Teaching Message Handout

Click here to download the visiting teaching handout.

The sisters we visit should be able to say, “If I have problems, I know my visiting teachers will help without waiting to be asked.” That really hit home and is something I will be working on.

You are welcome to share the quote I chose for the August visiting teaching message with your sisters and use this handout if you like.

I made the handout using my memories suite software. (If you need scrapbooking software, use the coupon code:STMMMS97077 for $10 off, making it $29.97, and get a $10 code to spend in the MyMemories.com Design Shop!)

Please show a little love and leave a comment if you download and use the handout. Thanks!

When I was inactive, I called them my Visiting Bathroom cleaners! She knew exactly what a pregnant woman needed… and it worked… we would visit while she cleaned… and before long we were true and lasting friends… I only wish we could call it something else… like the “Friendship Connection” or something… but whatever it is called, it is truly inspired of God!

Wow- so excellent! It was a good message to give as a reminder to keep doing better. To help without being asked.
