Today’s Feature Friday is Little Birdie Secrets and its creators Jessica, Mandy and Stacy.
Let’s get it started with the one minute interview…
What is your favorite crafting tool or secret weapon?
J: My favorite tool is my paper cutter….I love making cards and you can’t make a cute, professional looking card without it being neat and straight!
M: Favorite tool: Do I have to pick just one? I use Mod Podge a LOT. And my sewing machine–now that I have one I’d be lost without it!
S: My favorite tool is my sewing machine. I can’t live without it. Next up is Mary Ellen’s Best Press. I LOVE this stuff.
Are your toenails painted and if so, what color?
J: No, I am naked on my toes at the moment! 🙂
M: I’m wearing a light pink so you can’t tell when the polish gets dinged by my kids dropping things on my toes!
S: My toes are plain Jane right now, but if they were painted they would be fire engine red
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
J: If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be CHOCOLATE!!
M: I could eat sushi every day of my life. Yum.
S: French fries and ketchup
What is your guilty pleasure?
J: My guilty pleasure is watching reality TV. I love so many of them…American Idol, The Bachelorette, So You Think You Can Dance, and on and on!
M: My very guilty pleasure is consuming a box of Milk Duds or a bag of Riesen candies while watching The Bachelor. Perfect night for me!
S: Shopping is my guilty pleasure!
Speaking of guilty pleasure, how about some pie? Here’s Little Birdie’s tutorial on how to make Pie In a Jar. You could give it out as neighbor gifts or keep it for yourself for those late night sugar cravings. Either way, it’s definately tempting with the berry prices right now!!
And for summer travel plans, how perfect is this tutorial on How to Make a Luggage Handle Cover. I would have LOVED this when I was a flight attendant! I should totally make one of these for my hubby’s business trip at the end of the month! There would be no mistaking your bag in the sea of black bags with this cute little addition!
These next few ideas make the perfect addition to my Baby Gift Ideas!
Make Your Own Bibs and Splat Mats! This is a sewing project that I could totally do! It is mostly iron on! Just add bias tape (the blue stuff around the edges)! (Don’t feel bad if you had no idea what bias tape is, I didn’t either until a couple months ago!)
How about some stylin’ DIY Binkie clips? Trust me, if you have a binkie baby, you will want some of these! There’s nothing like dropping the only binkie you brought with you into the gutter as you lift your little one out of the car. Eww!
Just think of all the coordinating stuff you could make! I wish I had this tutorial on How to Make a Nursing Cover before my little one. I had a cover, but this one makes a nice little window so you can see what in the world you are doing. Very important those firt few weeks when you still feel like you are on training wheels.
I got a good laugh out of this Motivational poster for Father’s Day. It is a nice personalized gift for the man in your life with a good sense of humor.
I recently developed an unhealthy habit of collecting ribbon. I can’t help myself when it is on sale for $1. I have quite a collection now which warrants an organization system. Here are some great Ribbon Storage/Organization ideas.
I have talked multiple times about my lack of talent when it comes to grouping things. I was ecstatic to find this tip on How to Hang Picture Collage. I can’t believe I never thought of this before! I think my dilemma just may be solved!

I’m grateful for tippers of the week. I wish I had one of those nursing covers with my little one too. Well, now I can figure out how to make them. Thanks.
