October Visiting Teaching Message: If We Do Not Doubt

October 2, 2011 By Michelle Barneck 1 Comment

What a fitting way to round out the conference weekend with the October Visiting Teaching Message. This month’s message is all about being vigilent, keeping our covenants, and being strong examples for our children.

I really liked a lot of the message, thus the bulky text.

I used Shabby Princess Plentiful Digiscrap kit.

To print the October Visiting Teaching Message:

  • Right click the image and copy. Then, you can paste it in to word and re-size and copy as necessary for how many you want on a page.
  • or
  • Right click and save, then open with Windows Photo Gallery which allows you to print choosing your paper size (4×6).

DIY Under $5 Features

October 1, 2011 By Michelle Barneck 2 Comments

This was a record week even with the duplicates I deleted that had been linked in weeks past! Thanks so much for coming to share your talent each week! Without further adieu, the features.

My favorites:

Animal Toy Planter from the Thrillz of Hillz
This is just too perfect for my little boy’s paleontology room!

DIY Ruffled Clutch (instructions for printing on fabric)
from Attempting Aloha
Love the fabric design she did herself!

Tied Up Candy Basket from Alderberry Hill
These would make such great party favors!

Little Man Apron from Joys of Life with Lucy
The opposite stripes on the name applique made it for me.

Link with the most clicks:

Homemade Butterfingers from Gluesticks

DIY Under $5

September 28, 2011 By Michelle Barneck 2 Comments

It’s time to party! And what is a party without a little finger food in the form of a sweet treat?! This week’s project is Pumpkin Caramels. They are so easy it’s ridiculous!

Now it’s time to link up your projects!

I enjoy so much your $5 projects that
I decided to add an addition link section for anything under $15! That’s right. It will open up a place to show additional projects that can’t be purchased with an Abe Lincoln, but are still totally affordable! I can’t wait to see more from you!

Please remember:

  • Only link to your own projects that cost you $5 or less (price does not have to include items you had on hand) or $15 or less in the 2nd section.
  • You can link past projects that fit the dollar limit, but please only link each project one time to one DIY Under $5 party. Do not link the same project week after week.
  • No linking giveaways or items for sale
  • Please link back so others can join the party and so you have the opportunity to be featured on Saturday!
