Whether spring break or summer on its way, it is road trip season. Time to hit the road and see what our country has to offer. Whether short or cross country it’s nice to have some things up your sleeve for entertainment on the road and also little tricks for making the vacation a success. (Oh and be sure to check the bottom of the post for a discount code if you still need to book your vacation!) Here are five of our favorite ideas for making your road trip a memorable one for all the right reasons.

Road Trip Story Cards

Everyone loves a good story. These cards make it fun to take turns making up stories and with endless combinations and creativity it makes for a great time passer in the car!

These are a cinch to make and so handy to let everyone pack a little bag of treats, activities, and other items needed for the road.

Help the kids know how much longer with this fun map activity.

A Better Beach Towel

Super simple tutorial on how to transform a beach towel into a poncho perfect for little ones and privacy when you need to change on the beach or at the pool.

DIY Vacation ID Bracelet

Give yourself peace of mind at busy amusement parks by adorning each child with their personalized phone number bracelet in case they are seperated from you.

We love to travel, but know it can be something of a pain to plan all the details. We booked our last two Disneyland trips through Get Away Today. They make it easy to get everything you need from hotels, park tickets, transportation, and more and always have good specials like nights free, adults pay the kids price, etc. I totally recommend checking them out for your next vacation and if you use the discount code Tipsy14 you’ll get $10 off!
