Feature Friday-Blog Swap with All Thingz Related

October 29, 2010 By Michelle Barneck 2 Comments

Howdy, A Little Tipsy readers! My name is Rebekah and I am half of the sister-in-law duo over at All Thingz Related! A big thank you to Michelle, for blog swapping with us today!

A little about myself:
  • I’m a Kentucky girl…lived here all my life. I {might} have a little bit of an accent.
  • I’ve been a SAHM for 10 years! I have a 10 yr old daughter, 7 yr old son, & a 3 yr old son.
  • I’m married to a preacher’s son 😉
  • I’m an assistant Sunday School teacher to a group of 2, 3 & 4 yr olds!
  • I LOVE Dr. Pepper! It gets me through my day! I call it “liquid sanity”!
  • And of course, I LOVE to make things!

Spool of Thread Bookends using fruit cans

Simple Felt Roses on a ink-stamped, fabric covered, foam wreath

Magnetic Frame using Dollar Tree metal

Fall Pom-Pom Wreath made from coffee filters

Michelle wanted to know a few more things about me:

What is your favorite crafting tool or secret weapon?

I have a lot of favorites but you might be surprised to know that the item that I cannot live without are my little, old embroidery scissors! I found them at the thrift store for 50 cents! I use them for everything! They are super sharp and cut paper, material, plastics…And I’m the only one allowed to use them!!

If you could trade places with one person for the day with no restrictions who would it be and why?

Well, I love food almost as much as I love crafts. With that being said, I would be Rachael Ray for a day! She is on a show (can’t remember the name right now) where she travels the world, sampling all kinds of food! I would LOVE to be in her shoes for a day!

What is your costume for Halloween?

I am probably the only mother in the country who doesn’t dress up for Halloween. We don’t even take our children Trick or Treating, traditionally speaking. Instead, our church has a “Harvest Party”, with games, prizes, food & candy. The kids still dress up, just not as witches, zombies or vampires. This year, my kids will be an Indian Princess, Flash the Super Hero & Scooby Doo! They have tons of fun and don’t know any different!

It’s been fun, here at A Little Tipsy! We invite you to hop over and visit us at All Thingz Related! We’d be glad to have you!
