Uchtdorf, “[Jesus Christ] is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. He is the promised Messiah. He lived a perfect life and atoned for our sins. He will ever be at our side. He will fight our battles. He is our hope; He is our salvation; He is the way.”

The July visiting teaching message focuses on the divine mission of the Savior and his role as our advocate. I loved this quote from Elder D. Todd Christofferson, “It is of great significance to me, that I may at any moment and in any circumstance approach through prayer the throne of grace, that my Heavenly Father will hear my petition, that my Advocate, him who did no sin, whose blood was shed, will plead my cause.” But chose to focus the handout on the following quote I found in the sidebar from President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, “Let us not give up. Let us be true to our covenants. Let us never lose sight of our Advocate and Redeemer as we walk toward Him, one imperfect step after another.”
