Hi there. It’s Ananda from Cupkateer.
I’m excited to be swapping with Michelle for the day!

I am mommy to a busy 18 mo old, Magoo, and wife to an amazing guy. I work part time for a non-profit agency aimed at helping and strengthening families, and craft full time at home. I am a self proclaimed “Cupkateer” (my made up word for someone who makes cupcakes and all things creative and crafty) Want to see some of my favorite projects?

Felt Garden. This project is not for the faint at heart. This took WEEKS of non stop sewing as soon as Magoo was in bed every night. But it turned out so cute and my lil’ farmer loves playing with it and harvesting all the goods.

Stuffed Animal Child Harness. Got kids that love to run, especially in a public place? Here’s a tutorial for an oh so cute child harness made from a stuffed animal you have lying around.

And some delicious Cherry Limeade Cupcakes

I want to say thank you to Michelle for letting me swap with her. It was fun showing you a few of my favorite things. I hope to see you around my blog. There’s lots of other crafty goodness going on over there.

If Only I Ate Like My Son

May09 042I’m up on Rocky Mountain Moms blog today. Here’s a little teaser…

I have learned many things since having a child that have changed my life, but there is one thing that has not changed. My diet. I have forever had a sweet tooth and eat far more treats and processed insta-meals than I should. I have always known what I should eat, I was a Community Health major for heaven’s sake (that didn’t last long). It is just the the transition from knowing to doing that has been difficult.

So, what should come to me on that fateful day just over two years ago than a miniature sized health nut.

Little Tikes Wagon Review

We were so lucky this year that Santa brought son a Little Tikes Wagon! He knew it would be hard to fit in the car to come home from Grandma’s so he brought it to our house a day early. He is so considerate!

Mom and Dad made good use of the wagon and filled it with presents needed for the 2 1/2 hour car ride to Grandma and Grandpa’s.

It was obvious what the favorite thing was right from the beginning! Throw all the other presents out and let’s get to business!

He found the wagon to be useful for a myriad of activities…
bunker for shooting the ball gun…

a place to rest and have a snack…

or a nice seat to relax and watch a Christmas special.

After Christmas break at Grandma and Papa’s the wagon made a nice vehicle for delivering treats to a neighbor on Sunday.

It even assisted in a move, at which I could not be bothered to take pics at the risk of looking as if I wasn’t carrying my weight. ha ha…get it. My sis was moving from one apartment to another and this was a fantastically quick way to get items to the stairs.

So after some good use, here is the final verdict on the Little Tikes Green Adventure Wagon.

Pros:

  • Tons of creative uses
  • Perfect size for toddlers
  • Handle is a good length for both hubs and I
  • Really Heavy Duty Plastic that will not wear out even with a boy who is REALLY hard on things
  • Removable sides for boxes that are too big to fit
  • Comes with a huge box for hours of fun

Cons:

  • No words on instructions-hard to understand and took longer than I thought to put together
  • Front wheels seem to get stuck in place sometimes-may be a result of the cryptic instructions

Overall, the wagon has brought us some good times so far. I can’t wait to try it out at the zoo!
