Today’s Feature Friday is Little Birdie Secrets and its creators Jessica, Mandy and Stacy.

Let’s get it started with the one minute interview…
What is your favorite crafting tool or secret weapon?
J: My favorite tool is my paper cutter….I love making cards and you can’t make a cute, professional looking card without it being neat and straight!
M: Favorite tool: Do I have to pick just one? I use Mod Podge a LOT. And my sewing machine–now that I have one I’d be lost without it!
S: My favorite tool is my sewing machine. I can’t live without it. Next up is Mary Ellen’s Best Press. I LOVE this stuff.
Are your toenails painted and if so, what color?
J: No, I am naked on my toes at the moment! π
M: I’m wearing a light pink so you can’t tell when the polish gets dinged by my kids dropping things on my toes!
S: My toes are plain Jane right now, but if they were painted they would be fire engine red
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
J: If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be CHOCOLATE!!
M: I could eat sushi every day of my life. Yum.
S: French fries and ketchup
What is your guilty pleasure?
J: My guilty pleasure is watching reality TV. I love so many of them…American Idol, The Bachelorette, So You Think You Can Dance, and on and on!
M: My very guilty pleasure is consuming a box of Milk Duds or a bag of Riesen candies while watching The Bachelor. Perfect night for me!
S: Shopping is my guilty pleasure!
Speaking of guilty pleasure, how about some pie? Here’s Little Birdie’s tutorial on how to make Pie In a Jar. You could give it out as neighbor gifts or keep it for yourself for those late night sugar cravings. Either way, it’s definately tempting with the berry prices right now!!
And for summer travel plans, how perfect is this tutorial on How to Make a Luggage Handle Cover. I would have LOVED this when I was a flight attendant! I should totally make one of these for my hubby’s business trip at the end of the month! There would be no mistaking your bag in the sea of black bags with this cute little addition!
These next few ideas make the perfect addition to my Baby Gift Ideas!
Make Your Own Bibs and Splat Mats! This is a sewing project that I could totally do! It is mostly iron on! Just add bias tape (the blue stuff around the edges)! (Don’t feel bad if you had no idea what bias tape is, I didn’t either until a couple months ago!)
How about some stylin’ DIY Binkie clips? Trust me, if you have a binkie baby, you will want some of these! There’s nothing like dropping the only binkie you brought with you into the gutter as you lift your little one out of the car. Eww!
Just think of all the coordinating stuff you could make! I wish I had this tutorial on How to Make a Nursing Cover before my little one. I had a cover, but this one makes a nice little window so you can see what in the world you are doing. Very important those firt few weeks when you still feel like you are on training wheels.
I got a good laugh out of this Motivational poster for Father’s Day. It is a nice personalized gift for the man in your life with a good sense of humor.
I recently developed an unhealthy habit of collecting ribbon. I can’t help myself when it is on sale for $1. I have quite a collection now which warrants an organization system. Here are some great Ribbon Storage/Organization ideas.
I have talked multiple times about my lack of talent when it comes to grouping things. I was ecstatic to find this tip on How to Hang Picture Collage. I can’t believe I never thought of this before! I think my dilemma just may be solved!

Did you do it? I did! I wrote every single night of the 21 Day Journaling Challenge. Half of my entries are on my computer and half are on paper, but hey, I DID it!! I have a certain sense of pride and it really was a LOT easier than I thought it would be. I only had to turn to the entry idea questions twice. My life turned out to be a bit more exciting than I expected. π If you did not make it all 21 days or did not try, I exhort you to start. (Ok, it’s true, I just wanted to use the word exhort.) Just for fun, here are a couple of excerpts…
“Today my little guy learned to say bus and block. He also learned to lock mommy out of the car. We went to Target and I let him βrideβ a tricycle because I am deciding what to get him for his half birthday. We are celebrating his half birthday since his birthday is in December and close to Christmas. Anyway, he was mad that I took him away from the bike (he said bike all the way to the checkout) and so I let him hold the keys. He was still whining when we got to the car so I put him in the car first and then proceeded to load the bags in the back. Unfortunately, I failed to remember that he had the keys and loves to push the buttons. So naturally he locked me out. I freaked out because it was an 80+ degree day and the car gets pretty hot. I tried yelling through the window for him to push the button, but he just kept pushing the lock button that makes the car honk and people stare. I got really nervous that he would not get it to unlock so I called my hubby and told him he would have to come. Luckily, after about 5 minutes Aiden pushed the unlock button and I was able to get in. I have learned my lesson about getting the keys back before putting him in his car seat.”
So, now that I have this journaling “habit” down, I may as well start another one right?! I will conquer my goals 21 Days at a time. π Keep your eyes peeled for the next challenge. I won’t start today because it is my birthday and I deserve a day off right?!

I don’t even know what to say. I haven’t prepared anything. I truly am honored and excited to receive my first award. Woot! Is it because I use the work lovely so much? I guess not since nearly always use it in a sarcastic manner. Anywho, thanks to Gwen over at A House Full of Boys and a Mom (That’s how I feel sometimes, too!) for this LOVELY award! I actually did let out a little squeal when I saw it. My husband looked at me like I was completely loony.

Of course, to spread the bloggy cheer… I get to bestow this fun gift upon 10 other unsuspecting bloggers.
1. Our Incredible Happy Family
2. Fassio Forum
10. Life At Eventually Cottage
Alright, so here’s the catch {isn’t there always?}. In order to accept this award, you must place the award on your blog along with the name of the person who has granted the award and pass the “love” to 10 other blogs {preferably recently discovered ones}! Leave them a comment on their blog to let them know they have been chosen and watch the Award Love spread!
One a totally unrelated note…it’s been just over a week since the 21 Day Journaling Challenge, how are you doing? I have not missed a day so far! Woo hoo!
