I have always been somewhat of an entrepreneurial type. Maybe it stemmed from my being strolled around my families Penny Saver route from the time I was one. In elementary, I would run around advertorial notepads for my dad's real estate business. The college years rolled around and there was a dance studio attempt, which never made it past looking at studios and a wedding videography business in which we did make a few videos and a few bucks but never really found that sweet spot.
There have been many ideas and many endeavors along the way, but I have finally found where I am meant to be. I am a blogger. Blogging is my business of sorts. This is my passion and I am so happy to have found something that suits me and my entrepreneurial spirit and need to express myself while letting me be home with my kiddos whom I adore.
I love what I do and know what I love almost as much? Supporting other women run businesses that let allow others to do what they love most.
Like The R House Couture who have a passion for beautiful jewelry and the miracle of adoption.
Or Sycamore Street Press who I stumbled upon recently and instantly fell in love. They make the most hilarious prints and cards hand-printed on a vintage letterpress.
I truly believe that everyone should be able to live doing something they love which is why I was so excited to hear about Intuit's Love A Local Business competition.
