As one of the nine Sassy Scoops, I am all about small business. I love being able to buy local and actually meet the owners who lose sleep over these businesses. It makes them so much more personal and makes their products come with a story not just a made in china sticker. Being asked my favorite small business is like being asked my favorite dessert, there are oh so many to choose from. Some days you creme brulee is number one, but others a brownie sundae is on top.
The Chocolate for their decadent desserts namely the strawberry cream puff and turtle brownie- Foot Zone by Jen for her relaxing and healing hands
- Oopsie Daisy for their adorable collection of children's furniture, clothing, and toys
- Anastasia's Attic at Gardner Village for their whimsical boutique whose goal is to make every girl feel like a princess
- Adobos Caribbean Grill for their amazing menu of which I have liked everything I've tried.

So here's the plan for Saturday. Start with a little something for the kiddos from Oopsie Daisy, then something for yourself from Anastasia's Attic. By now you'll need lunch from Adobo's and your feet and body may be aching so head on over to Jen. Then, round it all out with a midday sugar boost from The Chocolate. Sounds good doesn't it?!
BTW Footzone by Jen is offering a Small Business Saturday deal of her own! Anyone who calls on Friday or Saturday to book a session will get $10 off!

What a great idea, small business Saturday. All of these places look great, especially The Chocolate ;) It's so hard to get started with your business (I'm speaking from a bit of experience here) and I admire these people for following their passion and you for giving them support.
