Don't you love how I covered it with family pics, notepads, etc. to try and cover up the fact that it is hideous. Ya, not working so well is it.
Now, shall we talk about my dishwasher that screams (literally, bloody murder, my sis walked in and asked what in the world was making the wretched sound) during the wash and rinse cycles. Or how about the above range microwave my husband bought me from a friend that was remodeling only to find out it was from 1995, does not have a turn table and functions less effectively than the countertop microwave it was meant to replace. Boo.
Not to worry, the fact that I have an almond fridge, white stove and dishwasher and black microwave will soon be remedied by the fantastic people at KitchenAid and Sears. You see, they know a nice gal when they hear one plead and once they see my sad hand me down kitchen they will hopefully be blessing me with those amazing, shiny, durable, energy efficient, fully functioning, dream appliances in the picture up top.
But, not to worry, I will throw a dinner party so you can visit them too. And I promise to donate my old appliances to a good home... or the dump.

My ice maker just broke yesterday, but thankfully my son noticed in in time for me to get it shut off and only half my kitchen flooded. Good luck! I hope you win!
My oven blew up a week or two ago (hmmm...now that I think about it, it was like 2 days after you were here....suspicious) and I replaced it with a fabulous Kitchenaid with the double ovens. My dishwasher (needed replacing anyway) and microwave will be here next week. Too bad the fridge has to wait 'til Christmas bonus time!
Ha! I think we have the same fridge, so I entered too! But mine has the double ice/water dispenser with a scary brown stain, oh and we tried to spray paint it black, just not the ice/water dispenser part...
