Now, as you know, we recently had a photo shoot at Wheeler Farm. Our photographer was Katie Eavenson from Potatobug Photography and she does amazing work!

I was anxious about how my little guy was smiling (he was making faces I had never seen before) and if he might get dirty and she put me totally at ease.

Katie had a great trick to get him to look in to the camera by asking if he could see the monkey in the lens. That is how we got this adorable monkey noise face.

I was impressed that she could keep up with this little guy, even while 7 mos. pregnant!

I love how she captured so many facets of his personality.

My sis says the one below on the right looks like a GAP ad.

All I can say is that I love this kid and I am so happy we captured him at this age so I can always remember my crazy, adorable, silly, rambunctious, curious, loving, little boy.

I was amazed that one week after the shoot I had the fully edited images on a cd in my mailbox. I have all the printing rights and can print as many as I want and I pretty much want them all! Owning the printing rights is important to me.

Katie also sent a list of suggested companies to use for enlargements, books, etc which I think is really helpful considering she probably knows the good ones!

  33. I love the picture of the family walking in a line (looks like Salt Flats) with the two boys in front running, dad, mom, and the little girl trying to keep up… SO cute! I would LOVE to have a picture like that!

  41. I want some fabulous photos. You seriously can never have enough cute kiddo pictures! If you look back on her site about 6 months you will find this adorable family named the Phillips. Their children are GORGEOUS!! Photos are GORGEOUS. She done good.

  59. What a great contest! I have two boys, one who is 18 months and my baby is 4 month olds. I was looking all over for a photographer and ran into Katie’s blogspot and fell in love with the pictures of the little cutie in the sweatervest and plaid shirt, who I think is your son!!! I love how she captivated his eyes!! So cute. On her site to pick another picture, it would be the little baby boy on the suitcase.

  60. I didn’t see names on the images, maybe I’m just a total dork! but I liked the one in the family section with the kids in the front and the parents out of focus in the back (I look better out of focus he he he he!!!)
