Mirror, mirror on the wall who did the spookiest mirror makeover of all? I found this Golden beauty at a garage sale for a whole 50 cents. Yes, you read it right, 50 cents! Was the seller blind to its fabulous character? Apparently. I had grand plans to paint it some wild color, but that took a backseat to the Halloween spirit oozing from it. We had to take a detour to a dark place.
That made great strides, but it still needed a little something to push it over the edge. Enter the spider webs and a little friend my little one and I made (tutorial for spider) and it has just the right sense of “look in to me and you may see someone else in the mirror with you.” It reminds me of the Haunted mansion at Disneyland. Where we get to go next month. Yay!!!

Wow — 50 cents. That’s amazing.
I love your spooky transformation. Have you ever read or heard the legend of Bloody Mary? Oh my — look it up. It says that if you say “I do believe in Bloody Mary, I do believe in Bloody Mary” over and over while looking in a mirror, she will appear in the mirror and GRAB for you.
My girls swear that it happened to them.
Happy Halloween!
